This program was for the development of a very low weight titanium bicycle crank arm for high end bicycle racing applications. The stress analysis was used to compare different design alternatives to achieve minimum weight and maximum stiffness.
This unusual analysis was to evaluate the stresses and deflections on a specialized bra. The customer is a manufacturer of silicone implants and related items.
This locking lever was a portion of a small plastic trip mechanism in an irrigation closed cased rotor sprinkler. The initial design shown multiple hot spots that were later changed to a uniform stress beam.
This drive gear is a small molded plastic input gear into a gear box. It is water cooled and is critical for both stress and deflection. Analysis shown that there were no issues with the design as presented.
