  • Medical Scope

    This medical scope was designed for a start-up company and is used in prostate treatments. A special tip was developed and molded with special channels to guide tiny electrodes used in the medical procedure. CNC tool paths were created from the sculptured surfaced shapes and cut into the mold tooling.

  • Automotive Wheels

    Armor Engineering designed a series of wheels for a well knows manufacturer that were later used on Ford products. Multiple design concepts were modeled without internal details, then the "look" of the wheel was selected. Following that the rest of the wheel was designed and a finite element analysis was used to optimize the design structurally.

  • Anti-static Strap

    This project called for the redesign of the stress-relief portion of this anti-static strap body. The existing design was failing quickly due to fatigue of the flexible portion to the body. Finite element analysis was used to redesign the shapes and to achieve the needed life for the product.
